This is a Chapter of the Story A bonding experience. Go back to the previous Chapter„Yes, of course!“, Jürgen answered, „I'd love to!“
As if she was asking if he was aware of what he was doing Henry raised one eyebrow. She silently shook her head as she realized how absorbed Jürgen was by the way Thorsten was looking at him.
„Nice.“ Thorsten smirked in his oh-so-lovely way and Jürgen could feel his hands shaking a little. Why was he so excited? Jürgen realized that he definately needed a moment to himself before he would be able to leave for a walk with Thorsten. Whatever that meant.
„Uhm, you don't mind me going to the bathroom before we leave, do you?“, Jürgen asked, pointing at the bathroom door.
„Nevermind“, Thorsten replyed in with smooth deep voice.
The others were talking again. Henry had sat down and engaged in a conversation with Julez and Emil who were both cuddled up against each other. Jürgen couldn't hear what they were talking about and it didn't really matter to him. His mind was filled to the top with confusion, the smell of freshly cut onion and the deep brown of Thorstens eyes.
The boys were still playing their game and didn't mind him at all.
Mindlessly nodding Jürgen opened the door, closed it carefully and walked up to the mirror.
The same striking blue eyes gazed back at him, he recognized the golden shimmering curls that wildly framed his face and he remered putting on his favourite shirt in the morning that he now saw in the mirror, revealing just a tad more of his skin than what would've been appropreate for work. He kept these shirts for special occasions or the times he felt truly comfortable in his skin.
He felt this way in the morning but right now he wasn't too sure.
And even though he knew that it was his own reflection he saw in the mirror, he was surprised that
it raised his hand while he was. He did simply not feel very much like himself.
Maybe cold water might help, he thought and turned on the tap to wash his hands.
The cool water felt soothing and calming on his blushed skin.
Jürgen turned it off, dryed his hand and took a final look in the mirror while exhaling loudly three times. He rasied his eyebrows to his reflection. I can do this, he said to himself, it's only Thorsten. He has been a close friend to me since almost a year and even though I have these strange feelings towards him, I shouldn't make that much of a deal of it. I'll be fine.
He just had to remember Henry. Jürgen didn't want to hurt her feelings but since he wouldn't mind her sharing some special moments with other girls, why wouldn't Jürgen be allowed to…
He quickly shook his head, trying to erase the thought he almost thought. Just. A. Walk. He repeated in his mind. It's just a walk. Nothing more.
He rearranged a few of his golden shimmering curls, fiddled his shirt back in place and left the bathroom.
„Let's go“, he said, forcingly throwing a kind and loving smile towards Henry.
„Fine“, Thorsten answered and threw on his jacket. The muscles in his arms and back flexed in a extremely interesting way. Jürgen used so consider studying human anatomy but the way Thorstens body appealed to him was… a new feeling.
He looked for his shoes and jacket, dressed and left through the door Thorsten held open for him.
